Our objective to satisfy our customers’ expectations is fulfilled thanks to the constant improvement of our production processes. HAMON D’HONDT allocates a large part of resources and efforts in research and development to improve our products continuously.

HAMON D’HONDT employs a highly skilled personnel in order to offer global solutions from thermal and mechanical design, detailed engineering to fabrication, testing and on-site assistance. HAMON D’HONDT has

• a highly experienced group of designers equipped with latest HTRI® (Heat Transfer Research Inc.) thermal rating program and CAD stations, and
• project teams specialized in mechanical engineering, structural engineering, and mechanism engineering

HAMON D’HONDT is able to perform efficiently in house large scientific and technical calculations, 2D-3D drafting works, Finite Elements Analysis and project control tasks with its wide library of scientific programs and computing hardware.

HAMON D’HONDT has a large factory in Fresnes / Escaut (France) with a covered area of 17550 m² on a total surface of 115.000m²

The workshops are equipped with the most modern facilities for proper Manufacturing and Control such as:

• Cranes (capacity up to 2 x 20 tons)
• Horizontal lathes for nozzles chamfers machining
• Cutting machines (including oxy-cut and plasma cutting machines)
• Various welding equipments for manual and automatic processes (ARC – MIG – MAG – TIG-SAW-Weld-overlay), including double head welding machines for longitudinal seams and CNC headers end plates welding machines
• CNC Drilling/milling machines
• Electronically controlled tube ends expanding machines
• Fully automatic orbital GTAW tube ends welding machines
• Fining machines (for KLM, Embedded “G”, Extruded, HF and SF welded fins - Cast iron tubes – Twin tubes)
• Special equipments (PWHT furnace – 500 Tons Press)
• Cranes (capacity up to 2 x 20 tons)
• Quality control equipment (X-ray radiography ; US test equipment ; macrographic limishing equipment ; hydrostatic pressure test ; hardness test machines ; metallurgic microscope ; …)

HAMON D’HONDT has a workshop in Jubail Industrial Area (Saudi Arabia) with a covered area of 3500 m² on a total surface of 10.000 m².

The workshops are equipped with the most modern facilities for proper Manufacturing and Control such as:

• Cranes (capacity up to 2 x 15 tons)
• Electronically controlled tube ends expanding machines
• Fully automatic orbital GTAW tube ends welding machines
• Fining machines (for Embedded “G” and Extruded fins)
• Cranes (capacity up to 2 x 15 tons)
• Quality control equipment (hydrostatic pressure test …)

The workshops are performing tube finning, bundle assembly, air cooled heat exchanger modularizing and all relevant tests (Hydrotest, Helium leak tests, Vibration, noise) whereas the pressure parts (Headers) are being manufactured in France and shipped to the Jubail Factory.
