  • Counter-current flow configuration maximizing the temperature differences between the shell side and tube side fluids (result is less heat surface needed compared to multi-pass type).
  • When the process calls for a temperature cross, a hairpin exchanger is the most efficient design.
  • Reduced sizes of pressure vessels and consequently lower equipment costs (exotic materials).
  • Separate tube sheets handle high temperature differences and cycling more efficiently than shell & tube
  • Tube side and shell side connections are on the same end for ease of installation and piping.
  • Modular design allowing future duty changes.
  • Easy maintenance operations.
  • Longitudinal fins may be used to provide extended heat transfer surface with relatively low resulting pressure drops.
  • Range: from 4 to 24 inches shell diameter.
  • Separated or unihead type closures.
  • Our separated head closure type (1 gasket shell side, 1 gasket tube side) is particularly suitable for high pressure up to 700 bars tube side and 200 bars shell side.
  • It is recommended for high temperature and avoids all risks of contact between the two process fluids.
  • Our unihead type is less expensive and can be used in moderate services.
