Wet cooling towers offers an outstanding performance by taking full advantage of the ambient air humidity. Wet cooling, also called evaporative cooling, is a technology that can generate outstanding fuel saving and carbon emission reduction. Hamon, as a cooling tower manufacturer, take also in charge the cooling tower's maintenance.
Hamon aims at offering the best economical solution for the lifetime of field erected cooling towers:
Since Dr. Frederick Cottrell invented ESPs over a century ago, they have been the preferred Air Quality Control technology for particulate abatement. Fabric Filters are also very effective components to collect fine particulates. Hamon Research-Cottrell has decades of experience in the supply of these technologies, in practically all operating conditions:
Flue Gas Desulfurization (FGD) involves the removal of sulfur dioxide (SO2) contained in gases produced by the combustion of fossil fuels such as coal, oil, orimulsion, municipal solid waste, automobile tires and many industrial processes such as gasoline refi ning, cement, paper, glass, steel, iron, and copper production. Sulfur dioxide emissions are a primary contributor to acid rains and have been regulated by every industrialized nation in the world.
Worldwide, Hamon FGD systems are treating over 65,000 MWs of power generation capacity in twenty countries and on many more industrial class applications.
We have successfully installed Selective catalytic reduction deNOx plants (SCR) in the most stringent applications like hazardous waste incinerators or diesel engines.
Some utility and industrial processes, such as waste incineration, generate several pollutants, such as SOx, HCl, HF, heavy metals, dioxins and furans as well as NOx. The control of these particles must be accomplished with integrated air quality systems that combine different treatments to provide the highest efficiency of removal in respect of the best available technology. Hamon excels in providing custom made installations to respond to the most severe conditions.
Hamon has one of the world’s largest staffs of in-house engineering resources dedicated to design and construction of concrete chimneys and silos. This dedicated focus — a major strength for us — is the foundation upon which our chimneys are built.
We’ve designed and built chimneys from 100 feet to over 1000 feet tall; we’ve erected concrete chimneys with a variety of brick, FRP, steel, and alloy linings; we understand how they should operate under varying flue gas conditions; we can ensure structural integrity in areas with extreme winds or seismic activity. In short, our vast experience enables us to meet the exact process and site requirements of every chimney we build.
Heat recovery is the process of converting heat to steam for power, production, or climate.
Our solutions are built on more than 40 years of power generation, refinery and chemical process experience. We can provide a full range of custom-designed heat recovery options that will have the lowest lifetime cost, and increase the reliability of your facility. Hamon Deltak, Inc. thrives in supplying heat recovery units in the most demanding applications and operating conditions.
