Other Quality Fills for Your Natural Draft Cooling Tower

Coolfree C combines low-fouling and low-scaling properties while maintaining good thermal performance. Cooling towers with very poor water quality can benefit from this fill, sometime even without any need for water treatment. This film is also an excellent choice for crossflow cooling towers. The Cleanflow D film is adapted to suit any induced draft or natural draft cooling tower where there is poor quality industrial water. It can also be used in laminated decanting and gas cleaning.  This medium provides a large surface area for heat transfer. The bottom of the towers is open in order to provide fresh air flow upward. The hot water releases heat after coming into direct contact with the fresh air, and some of the hot water is evaporated. Cold water is collected at the bottom of the tower.
