Design Team Leader

Hamon Thermal Europe is currently searching a Design Team Leader for its Belgian headquarters.

Position Summary:

Pro-active and experienced designer able to design boiler works in Inventor 3D and to make detailed drawings of boiler works and various equipment for manufacturing. Good communicator, able to collect and distribute information to/from all people involded in the design and to coordinate the works of the design team.

 

Principal Accountabilities:

  • 3D modeling of complex boiler work assembly with Inventor and 2D drawings of boiler works and other components from HTE products (WET and DRY) for manufacturing
  • Coordination and verification of design team works: Make sure all inputs are validated, answer design questions and check drawings before releasing them for manufacturing.
  • Manage the Inventor database (Vault) and have the lead on the transition project between Autocad 3D and Inventor. Train the team if necessary.

 

       

 

Minimum Requirements:

  • Perfect knowledge of Autocad 2D and Inventor

  • Experienced in boiler work detailed design and piping will be highly appreciated

  • Ability to understand manufacturing, erection and operation’s principles and to take them into account in the design

  • Fluent in English and French

     - Able to deal with a lot of information, to integrate them in all related drawings and to dispatch them to all involved team members (including designers from other design office in Germany, India or France)

     - Able to follow a planning and to organize the work of the design team in the most efficient way

     - Good Communicator for internal and external communication :

                   - with other departments (structure, process, project management)

                   - with other designers

                   - with sub-contractors to coordinate external studies
