H.E. Dr. Jan HOOGMARTENS, the Ambassador of Belgium to China and his delegation visited our factory in Tianjin on 19 November 2020.
During a two-hour meeting, Mr. Amaury LE COCQ, Managing Director Hamon Research-Cottrell China and Mr. Laurent ZHOU, General Manager Hamon Beijing briefed the Ambassador on Hamon’s development and business in China. Both sides exchanged thoughts on the impact of COVID-19 on companies as economic and social activities are quickly recovering.
The Ambassador was accompanied by Ms. Sophie HOTTAT, Head of the Economic Section, Ms. Mathilde RENARD, Second Secretary, Economic Section, Ms. Justine COLOGNESI, Trade and Investment Counsellor (Wallonia and Brussels Capital Region) and other staff from the Embassy of Belgium in China.
After the meeting, H.E. Dr. Jan HOOGMARTENS and the delegation visited Hamon Tianjin production line for Dry Cooling where Mr. ZHOU and the plant leader introduced the products supplied by the Hamon factory. Despite the current situation of the market, our Tianjin factory continues to manufacture bundles for the whole Group.
H.E. Dr. Jan HOOGMARTENS was pleased to hear that Hamon, the well-known Belgium brand in China, has resumed production smoothly and is providing timely services for customers, while protecting our emloyee's health and safety. He also said that the Belgium Embassy in China will continue to provide all possible support to the Belgian companies in China whenever needed.
